'D' range of centrifugal pumps
'D' - Our long-standing
range of hygienic pumps, which are manufactured from solid bar and have an
excellent track record.
There are 6 basic models D1, D2 / D121, D3, D4, D6 & D5
(the D6 is smaller than the D5). The D4
and D5 are also available with a volute cover for high flows.
Available as flooded suction and 'AS' scavenge versions.
Note: in the majority of cases, we now recommend the
updated D121 pump instead of the D2, and the newer H range of pumps instead of the D3,
D4 & D6 pumps.

The 'D' range is available as either:

Flooded suction pump (top right), which is used
for applications where the pump is flooded with liquid, for example a
delivery pump.
Air Separator ('AS') pump (right),
which is designed to handle a mixture of air and liquid, eg for
emptying product from road tankers, or for scavenging of vessels and
pipelines in a CIP (Cleaning In Place) system. For applications where
the liquid level is below the inlet of the pump, a liquid reservoir
can be supplied to make the 'AS' pump self-priming.
